AHS Construction was engaged by Bunnings to deliver a significant upgrade to the Mount Maunganui store, enhancing both functionality and customer experience. Key works included the structural design and construction of a new 1,300 m² canopy over the Bagged Goods area and a 1,700 m² canopy over the Trade Timber Yard, providing improved weather protection and operational efficiency.

Additional upgrades included internal fit-outs and skylight replacements, all carefully coordinated to take place within a fully operational store. Maintaining smooth daily operations and minimal disruption to staff and customers was a priority throughout the project, requiring meticulous planning and collaboration.

The result is a modernised, functional retail environment that supports Bunnings’ operational needs while delivering an enhanced experience for both staff and customers.
